Mindy began her marketing career as public relations director for the Northeast Organic Farming Association, where she crafted a robust event marketing protocol for one of the largest food education and policy organizations in New England. From there moved into marketing consulting for the private sector at the Williams Agency in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has collaborated with national and international brands such as JetBlue, Maker’s Mark, Whole Foods Market and ZipCar on event marketing projects. Mindy served as the Marketing & Events Manager at the James Beard-award winning Oleana Restaurant Group under the leadership of Executive Chef Ana Sortun. Vineyard (formerly Mindy Harris Communications) was born in 2011, and has continued to grow into a team effort. Mindy holds a master’s degree from Harvard University and a bachelors from Northwestern. When she’s not cultivating her garden or busy staring at the latest sans serif fonts, she’s en route to the bush somewhere in Africa.
Jeremy formalized his expertise in the international travel industry during several years at Sustainable Travel International (STI), where he was Vice President of Marketing and Partnership Development. During his time at STI, Jeremy was the program lead for the Sustainable Travel Leadership Network, through which he facilitated the first Travel and Tourism Collective Impact Summit. He has been a speaker at various global conferences, including ITB Berlin, the IUCN World Conservation Congress, and the American Indian Tourism Conference. In addition to consulting with Vineyard, Jeremy is serving as President of Greenspot Travel, a leader in customized luxury eco-travel. Jeremy is usually hiking with his family in Washington State, thinking about ways to save the planet, solving problems, or generally bringing people together. He’s our in-house diplomat.
Kristin hails from one of the world’s leading tour operators, Audley Travel, and helped launch their US office in Boston. At Audley, she designed and sold African holidays as a senior specialist, and led her team with a comprehensive knowledge of Southern Africa, Tanzania, and Seychelles. She has a solid product background and managed an A-list client portfolio with a large percentage of repeat clients. Kristin now handles sales, product support, competitor research, and customized itineraries for our travel industry clients and partners. When Kristin is not traveling and helping others plan their dream holidays, she’s out hiking, taking wildlife photos, or relaxing with a good South African wine.
An attorney by training, Paula has translated her professional attention to detail and love for the written word into an editing career spanning a variety of genres and industries. Recent projects include educational textbook content, promotional web copy for a bed-and-breakfast destination resort, a hard-copy adult mystery novel, and a series of teen novels. Paula holds a BS in Economics with a concentration in marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from the UCLA School of Law. You can often find Paula volunteering behind the librarian’s desk of a successful 5,000-volume local synagogue library, or co-chairing a series of author speaking events in northeastern Massachusetts. She ensures that all Vineyard-client marketing work is expertly written, clean, and in keeping with brand standards. Paula is an avid bibliophile, and enjoys collecting, and reading books in a variety of genres. She also spends an inordinate amount of time watching panda cams online.
Megan Taylor has spent over 13 years involved in all aspects of marketing and public relations for luxury lifestyle accounts. As the Director of Public Relations for Hospitality-Marketing’s Fort Lauderdale office, Megan managed the Boca Raton Resort & Club, El San Juan Resort, and Casa Marina accounts. Immediately prior, she served as PR Manager for the Four Seasons Hotel Miami, where she raised visibility for the Four Seasons culinary excellence through chef-driven cooking classes.In an earlier role as Director of Account Services at KWE Partners, Megan directed a wide-range of client programs for clients Cheeca Lodge and the AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Resorts in Mexico. Megan has secured editorial coverage for clients in The New York Times, Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Vogue, SHAPE, Food + Wine, and hundreds of global media outlets. In addition, she has received numerous distinctions in Travel + Leisure’s Social Media in Travel and Tourism Industry Awards and HOTELS Magazine’s Social Hotels Awards. Taylor graduated from the University of Miami’s School of Communication. When she’s not off traveling to properties with her press partners, you can usually find Megan relaxing with a cocktail on the beach somewhere on the Caribbean coast.
